The Domaine Jaegerthal

The Domaine Jaegerthal is located in the town of the same name in northern Alsace, only a few kilometers from Niederbronn les Bains, Bitche and Lembach. The romantic property with the guest house – once the old village school – and the turbine house (I call it the mill) is picturesquely framed by the Schwarzbach and its pond and has an almost paradisiacal character.

Your host

The Domaine Jaegerthal is also for me “Michael Veith” a magical place where I can let my creativity run free, it is my source of strength and think tank. This is where most of my gardens are created, this is where I receive my customers, discuss the ideas I have worked out and let my visitors share in my love for nature.

My Maison de la Turbine – alias Mill – with its extensive park and unique orangery is ideal for an extraordinary film and photo backdrop. The elegant, former school and parsonage, as well as the former hunting and forest house of a noble family in the middle of nature offer a very special charm and unimagined possibilities.

The steel dynasty “de Dietrich” had its origins here more than 350 years ago.
In what is now the park of Domaine Jaegerthal, the first blast furnace and a small hammer from the company de Dietrich were located until the end of the 19th century.
